How did this project develop?
All three on this team went to a science and math middle school, Winterhaven. During middle school, they all seperately did science fair projects that were required for science class each year, and often went to the state level. Once they came into high school, Annelise and Alexander attending the same neighborhood high school while Mariah attended a different, private all-girls school.
Being close friends, they created a graduation video together to be displayed at the middle school graduation cerimony, and worked well together on it. Because of this, Annelise asked if Alexander and Mariah would like to work on a team science fair project for 2010 as freshmen. No one else in there high schools decided to submit a project for the fair. They proceeded to get together almost every weekend once the idea was introduced in the beginning on 2010. They finished just in time for the regional PPSSE fair.
They then proceeded to get best in fair, launching them up past state, and directly towards internationals!
